We will work at a slower pace than a traditional Vinyasa  class, focusing on correct alignment and breaking down each asana (or  pose) preparing you for more advanced classes.  The beauty of this is  that even students with a regular practice can benefit from the no  judgement attitude, and can feel comfortable asking questions or  workshopping a particular pose. Working as a tattooer, I spent the bulk of my days sitting hunched over  clients with my head down. I found that while in class, the stress of  the day melted away and soon became appreciative of that blessed time  each day when I could check my worries at the door.&lt;br /&gt;When I was pregnant with my daughter, Dahlia, I continued my practice up  until the day she decided to make her debut. I'm proud to say that I  was able to have a natural delivery with the help of breathing  techniques I learned studying yoga.&lt;br /&gt;I've studied many different styles of yoga over the years, and am  trained in Ashtanga. I try to let my love of all styles show through in  my teaching, while focusing on alignment and correct postures.&lt;br /&gt;And  let's not forget to take a moment to laugh! Five years ago she was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma( bone cancer) and underwent surgery to remove her front leg.&lt;br /&gt;Her healing journey, her courageous heart, her unwavering spirit and her physical grace  have been a constant inspiration and motivation for my  yoga practice.
